The Action Gap: In-Depth Children’s Ministry

Recent findings by Barna have revealed that the Christian population is on the decline, with only 10% of young Christians demonstrating a strong faith. One of the reasons for this could be the growing divide between learning and taking action. As a local church, it’s vital to reflect on whether we’re providing enough support to bridge this gap and help children develop a healthier and more dynamic faith.

Kristi has dedicated her life to working in full-time ministry for over three decades, specifically focusing on assisting the local church with the various needs of children’s ministry. Together with her spouse Dwight, she founded Equip & Grow – an international ministry that provides children’s ministry curriculum in 26 languages to thousands of ministries worldwide, representing the local church in over 20 different denominations. The ministry’s website boasts of over 10 million downloads from over 60 countries, and has become an invaluable resource for ministry leaders around the globe. Kristi spent half her life in Mexico, but currently resides in Albany, Oregon, where she shares her home with her husband, her Mexican cats, and her gringa chickens.
