Drawing from both personal experience as well as current research, this session will dive into the mechanics of a successful church succession as well as how to avoid the pitfalls that can derail even the strongest churches. We’ll pay special attention to the often overlooked personal experience of both the outgoing and incoming leaders.

Andrew Cromwell has served as the lead pastor of Koinonia Church (Hanford, CA) since January 2019. He first began serving on pastoral staff at Koinonia in December of 1999. He holds a B.A. from California State University Fresno and an M.A. in Philosophy of Religion and Ethics from Talbot Theological Seminary. Andrew and his wife, Kerry, who is a practicing Nurse Practitioner as well as Women’s Ministry Pastor at Koinonia, have been married for 23 years and have four young adult children.
